A competent physicist can show you that there is a finite limit to the amount of compression that can be applied to information before information loss begins. I suspect that the state of the art today is near that limit. -- "[They] watch the bonfire mark the end of the Madman/They all watch the bonfire die into embers/They all watch the funeral morning glow./The Madman is dead./The dawn wind whispers:/'The Madman is dead.'"--S.C.Schumacher, "The Madman of Hamberton Swabe" |

| reply to Karl Bode Thanks for the efforts at scam.com guys
I didn't quite realise exactly how brain dead these juice affiliates really are. They refuse to understand the financial mathematics or the physics. They are all over the place, everywhere in the world, in every town on every continent. The walking dead. There is probably one sitting in a research station at the South Pole counting his virtual money. This has to be the daddy of all internet scams. Karl's thoughts on the final killer blow of the scam is probably bang on. |

| reply to davidmckay10 These people are marketing geniuses.. don't know what they are selling. But neither do the people who are pushing it. Is it just a mass collection of email addys? Or some kind of crapware that puts a picture of an ice cream cone on your browser instead of a 404 error? The compression and spam guarantees speak for their selves.
This would be a great way for a marketing company to introduce itself to the world. Even a technophobe at work has asked me about this. |

1 edit | reply to davidmckay10 Our very own BBR Googlebomb. And there isn't squat that those affiliates (or the scammers themselves) can do to try to displace that page ranking. Or rather they can, but two can play at that game.
As for the Juiceboosted affiliates themselves, judging from a Google groups search using the same words, they're spamming some of Usenet as well. -- "Kayura or Badamon, whichever you are, you should know that I will never give up this battle. | reply to davidmckay10 I will post the same question as I posted at scam.com, can anyone prove this is a scam ? has anyone actually looked into any facts regarding the service instead of just the affiliate scheme. What about people who were simply interested in a slight internet boost rather than earning money which usually is a scam and you run your own risk if you sign up. The affiliate side of the juice site seems to be the smallest part, but seems to be the only discussion anyone is interested in ?
I think there needs to be some hard facts, rather than a lot of hot air which cant be proven. |

what is it? where are there any facts? namely white papers? Have they changed the three-way handshake? how did they address the latency with dialup? and FCC mandated max. speeds? How am I supposed to believe you can stop all spam? These are questions that must be answered first. Not only a troll, but likely also an affiliate for Juiceboosted as well. And giving the same arguments that there is no proof that this is a scam when proving that it is not a scam is next to impossible. -- "Kayura or Badamon, whichever you are, you should know that I will never give up this battle. I am already an affiliate and i have spoken to somebody at the juice office, that assure me that this company is definately kosher, they get their money from a pay per click site. and have the huge financial backing to be able to pay their affiliates, there are only 80 million free lifetime connections. we will see what happens on 4th october when the company open their browser. I sincerely hope that you all change your minds when you see the workings of a company who is going to be bigger than aol, these guys are gonna be the microsoft of the internet. if you ain't falling for it, you stick at your little 56k. and 512 adsl. good luck to all and everyone. Well my cable is 3 mbit so I am still above being "juice boosted".
Why can't these people see they are a waste of resources on not only the internet but also the planet. All the affiliates and the head guys should all kill themselves to save the rest of the human race. We don't need this type of idiocy in the world.
Also Mr. Dixon I can sell you a bridge in the Sahara desert your free to put up as many tolls as you please. Call me up we can talk. My company is Kosher I will even tell you that.
I swear there are just some people in this world that are blinded by their greed. They will try and pitch anything to people who also have that need for greed. -- "It's always funny until someone gets hurt......and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!" |

Australia? Isn't that where they send all the crooks? ;) -Riss
Ok, first I'd like to say that that was totally un-called for.
You don't seem to show us what country you're from, so I assume you're not too proud of it. davidmckay10 and I are proud Australian's. I can't be bothered registering for this site so that you can see my country listed because after reading this thread, I'm not real interested in being involved in this community beyond this one post.
This site is called broadbandreports.com right? And davidmckay10 created a thread called "Juice Boosted Scam" (notice that scam bit on the end) and posted the details given in the scam. I'm guessing he thought this would be an appropriate place to "Report" a "Broadband" scam.
5 pages of posts with you people paying out on a guy trying to do the right thing... I'm glad none of you are in my country. I came here because a friend had come across "Juice" and told me he was thinking about getting it. I warned him that it was almost certainly a scam and googled for juice boosted to get evidence to show him. This site was the number 1 search result, but I think I'll look further down the list for a better site to show him. |

Wrong. This thread was moved from the Broadband Tweaks forum where your countryman spammed that group with this scam. He did not originally post in the Scambusters forum.

If you had taken the time to actually read through the thread (and the ones at scam.com), instead of making a knee-jerk reaction such as this, you would have seen that the responses were called for, even if making comments about sending criminals to Australia wasn't. -- "Kayura or Badamon, whichever you are, you should know that I will never give up this battle. | Excellent response, Shuten Doji. I was going to say some of the same things, but you beat me to it .
As far as the comment in regards to Australia's history, I think it would have also been good if he just let it go. Sure, that wasn't needed but I'm sure we can all think of a thousand worse things to say.
We need more tolerance and less knee-jerk reactions . |
