| My favorite DSL ISP!
After trying in vain to get DSL for months, I found DSL Designs who got me on and running in two weeks!! When I read about the agony of DSL (especially from Pac Bell), I smile and I wonder why everyone doesn't use DSL Designs, Inc.!
Along with their reliability, their extra features (streaming video, Yahoo Broadcast and many others) make them a standout in the supplier of Broadband services!

| Maybe its because the address they give on their website is actually a convalescent hospital. |

| 16603 Lark Ave. is across the street from the Hospital. The address is clearly marked. Please call if you have trouble finding us. We will be happy to give you directions.

| You're at an opening in the fence across the freeway on ramp from the hospital. It would probably be easier to find if it was actually on Lark Ave.
Another reason why "everyone doesn't use DSL Designs, Inc" is that its not possible. You take orders for services that you can't provide and then have no status updates or any way to see how the order is doing. After 5 visits from PacBell to put the wires in, now NorthPoint says their DSLAM is full, so why did they take the order??? None of the services offerings on DSL Designs web site match the offerings when you call. The part of DSL Designs you can actually talk to is apparently in Tucson, Arizona, not Los Gatos, California. I recently found out the DSL Designs is actually a reseller of Zyan who is being sued by one of their other resellers for disconnecting all of their customers and has no qualms about cutting DSL Designs out of the deal if I would like to go direct with them. DSL Designs has almost no status on the job; Zyan has no status; NorthPoint has some status, but its almost impossible to get it out of them because most of their people will only tell an ISP what's going on; PacBell has a lot of difficulty figuring out which order it is because there are 3 companies between me and PacBell and the orders aren't tracked by phone number. You tell people that DSL will be installed in 2-3 weeks, but then you use NorthPoint who says they can't do anything to speed up the process until it has been 8 weeks.
Apparently you can only get positive reviews from people who work for you as evidenced by the @dsldesigns.com email address instead of @dsldesigns.net. |

Anon | I was a customer for serval months before I was an employee. DSL Designs was the only ISP offering DSL at a reasonable price in my home area. The installation was on schedule and my service has been more stable than any of the dialup services I have used. |
