Could you clarify that please? There is a domain spywareblaster.com which is NOT Javacool's website and is advertising a rogue anti-spyware program.
Javacool's website is »www.javacoolsoftware.com/index.html
SpywareBlaster is here: »www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
This type of misleading marketing and confusion is *exactly* what these sleazy companies count on to sell their products. -- aka Suzi, Spyware Warrior |

I also recall the link being there, directing one to SpywareBlaster, the last time I used Spybot S&D. If I remember correctly, it said that there was something that SWB searches for that Spybot doesn't but don't quote me on that. | I followed the link to SpywareBlaster from SpyBot S&D a couple of months back and installed it on my system. I have had no problems, and when I run SpyBot S&D, I find that Spywareblaster has done its job quite well, with little or no spyware installed behind my back. Also, Spywareblaster has a couple of extras, like the ability to turn off Macromedia Flash when you don't want it, which helps keep down the annoying ads when you open a web page (such as weather.com). |
