If I bought that why would I want VoIP at all. The advantage that VoIP brings me is lower cost related to a landline that I almost never use while being able to use standard telephones around the house to make some calls and this device allows me to do just that over a cell phone that I never get close to using all of my minutes on anyway. | |

Farmington, MI | VOIP may have lower international call rates than most cell plans, that may be a reason.
I've heard of a few ways of doing this, mostly with a Pulver Cell Socket and one of those boxes that bridge two phone lines. | |

Seattle, WA | Yes that is true you can't use the SPA 3000 with most services. So for a Vonage box you wil need to use the port converter with the Dock-n-Talk. | |
