I left AOL when I got booted by TOS back in the day for being in #coldice or something like that... Anyway, people don't like change. People like it easy and convenient. Most people that sign our list at work have an AOL account. Around 90% of them, it's a huge majority. How about the disk SPAM?? You could get them in the mail, at work, at post office, Compusa used to have them... What about the TV Ads, with each version it's "easier then ever" ever since version 3.0.. 1500 minutes free...
All these added up, and people get brainwashed. It's only normal and most people just chat, check their email and surf the web a little, that's it. They are not power users..
