AOL's 'Incredible Deal'

I wouldn't want anything to do with AOL no matter what they where offering. Dial-up service is on the way out and AOL must face the fact that's it's either change with the times or get out of the business

What type of computer, monitor and printer goes for $300, What is AOL giving away a old TRS-80.

Hey, I used to have one of those. It was a Model III that I got for Christmas in 1980.

The Trash-80 is how I got started with computers way back on 1982-1983. Between the Trash-80 and a Texas Instrument computer that you use to plug into the back of a television, that was how I started with computers. Me and a friend , use to write GW basic code for hours making basic computer games. Someone needs to start a TRS-80 memories forum.

Imagine using a TRS-80 with AOL!
Even though the chip technology and GUI/DOS platform wouldn't match, it still would be a funny thing to see.
