need remote access solution for customer

I am a New Edge Partner with an existing customer on an SDSL circuit. This client needs to access the office network from home to get to files on their Win2k3 server. The office is what is on the SDSL circuit and the EU is using telco ADSL. The SDSL circuit is not a permanent solution now that they want remote access into the network and I have suggested a burstable T1 for them since they have outgoing trafic of 10+ users and 3-4 users on incoming traffic. However they have an urgent issue and I need to get one user remote access immediately and then they will likely upgrade to the burstable circuit.

They have a speedstream 5851 router v4.0.5.1.

There is an area of the menu (logged onto router via telnet) called remote and it looks like it can be done but I don't know for sure.

This client has one static IP assigned to the server already (separate from the IP assigned to the router) but when they attempt to map a network drive remotely (WinXP on remote machine) they get error the network path \\serverip\share cannot be found.

Thanks,
mntbnd
