I don't know. They would have to see competition in all their major markets for them to take action. For example, there are three cable companies in my market (Insight, Sigecom, and Ohio Valley Cable) that offer internet access. Then there's all the DSL providers. Does this competition affect Insight? Not really, but then again, none of the other cable companies' service is even as good as Insight's. |

| reply to Davros866 Because a 128Kbps is the least they could upgrade it. If they were really looking to please customers they would make it 384Kbps; like most companies like BrightHouse have as a STANDARD. I believe that it will take another cable company moving into Insight's territory in order for us 40 dollar a month users to get 384 upload. That's why they did it, to make room for a forced upgrade in the future.:p |
