| high is fine, as far as being more secure, just look at your programs list, and make sure only programs that NEED server access have it allowed(very few programs need it, only 3 on mine have it) aol instant messenger for one(needs it for direct connections), if nothing has server access the incoming ports are already blocked
if you know the programs you should leave the "access" row checked, for the server row i explained up top, and the send mail is pretty self explanitory(check=allowed to send mail, X=not)
the lines are just your normal internet traffic, like your modem will show, the green is allowed, the red is blocked |
