| Has anyone seen UDPfloder or
UDPflooder...Avg has picked this up for a week now...Can't clean it...Have tried AVG's manual clean method on their website...It does not find it at all.
Have run several other programs, including The Cleaner, that claim to be able to clean it....none have even found it.
Avg calls it UDPfloder...Could this be a false positive? I have seen no effects of anything bad...Sygate logs look OK.
Any thoughts.. |

| What (file) does AVG flag as malware. Does it give the path/location to it
You can also test it with online AV »Security »What are some web based virus scanners and encyclopedias?

| You might try searching for UDPflood.exe which is a foundstone tool which some AVs flag as malware. I downloaded from the foundstone site a while back to try something and TrendMicro flagged it when I scanned. It might be the same if you ever downloaded it. It is a tool which could be used to cause a DOS.

| reply to bilyardman Normally Packet Flooders are considered malicious utilities and gets slapped as Trojan by many AV systems even though they dont actually do harm to the users who actually uses it. Password Recovery Utilities also innocent which gets slapped as a Trojan, so if you see Packet Flooders for instance being detected as Trojan, |
