| cant get microsoft mn-730 802.11g drivers working
first off i have xp pro w/SP2
i have 2 wireless routers, one usr and one toshiba pcx4500.
the issue is not with the wireless connectivity, its a driver issue i believe. no matter what drivers i use, one from the disc, ones from the site, do it the way tech support told me for an hour, i keep getting error code 10, device cannot start. i had the issue before with a nvidia card on another computer and better drivers fixed it, so thats why i believe its driver related. i have searched google and many people said the new drivers fix the issues with sp2, but in my case, niether I or microsoft tech support could fix it. also when i follow the directions on how to install it, it never even finds the device i manually have to go to device manager and find the drivers myself, which still doesnt do anything. last i tried 3 different pci slots and still no luck. |
