The www.juiceboosted.com (Faster Than Broadband) opportunity seems too good to be true (and too good to miss), as it offers FREE faster than broadband over a telephone line.
I have been giving considerable thought, over the past few weeks, as to how there could be a scam in it.
I have come up with this possibility, based on the following factors :-
On their website Juice say that you will need a modem to access the service.
They state that on the 1st October they will send a small piece of software to access the FREE service.
They are unwilling to explain how such a fast service can be achieved.
(When experts say that normal phone lines cannot support fast transmission rates).
Looks innocuous, but what if the following scenario applies:-
Using a modem requires the subscriber to USE THEIR PHONE LINE.
The "SMALL PIECE OF ACCESS SOFTWARE" is a PREMIUM RATE NUMBER AUTODIALER
(OR NUMBER DIVERSION PROGRAM DIVERTING TO A PREMIUM RATE DIALER).
By using people's hopes and trust they dupe people into expecting the service and anticipating the delivery of the "ACCESS" software.
The autodialed number could be carrying a large cost, MAYBE AS MUCH AS £200 PER MINUTE or more !.
They know that by using viral marketing techniques, they are going to create a vast army of potential dialers.
Not all those people can be forewarned even if it is revealed that this IS a CON.
Therefore, some people WILL run the software and autodial the service.
The 1st of October sees the delivery of, maybe, 10's of thousands of dialers to all the "AFFILIATES".
Even if some do not run the software, they could become very wealthy, with the ones who do.
If you are an AFFILLIATE, I would suggest that, you do NOT run the "ACCESS SOFTWARE".
Wait until it has been proven to give the FASTER THAN BROADBAND service as promised.

If you think it maybe a dialer just get your phone service company to put a toll bar that requires you to put in a pin or something to be able to make toll calls? Or if you will never make a toll call then get them to put a permanent toll bar on.
