Could someone resize this for me so that I can make it an avatar? Also, could someone explain how they do that so I don't have to keep coming back here and asking for help everytime I get a new avatar. I do it a couple times a year. Thank you in advance. |

| Here you go. As far as how, it depends on which software you are using. |

| reply to Bchinch00 Here's a few for you. I use Jasc Animation Shop but if you don't have a program to resize you can use Gifworks »www/gifworks.com or Irfanview »irfanview.com
The first one is just resized, the 2nd was pasted into a square frame and resized. --

You could click on the FAQ on the first page of this forum, or you can go to it by clicking HERE.
Go down to #3 and start clicking on the links and reading the info about how to make avatars and what programs to use.
For my money, the GIMP - which is free - seems to be as good as any of the graphics editors that cost tons of money. I've never used it, but I've been watching cybrog learn it and am amazed by what it can do (see his recent tutorial on how to do a 3D frame).
However, if you're bent on spending money for a graphics editor, the only two choices I would make are Jasc PaintShopPro(really reasonable, especially if you are willing to shop around on the Net), and Adobe PhotoShop(really pricey), both of which come bundled with their own animation creators/editors.
But keep reading, all the way through #5 in the FAQ is about creating graphics and using graphics editors.
There is also another link on the front page of this forum about some great tutorials by various forum members - you can't miss it! -- Some people think they gain through dishonest means, never realizing that in lying, cheating, and other dishonesty, they are losing pieces of themselves, which they can never recover.
