Those sites only list it on one page usually, the homepage. This is on EVERY page, I have NEVER seen a forum with anything like that on every page. There's no reason why you can't turn it off. Have it on by default, and make an op-out.. no reason there shouldn't be one. |

Besides, it's just a 110x32 pixel image. Appears on every page, just like the NAC endorsement, as removed pointed out. |

I think it's an insult to anybody that paid to have no ads on DSLR. |

And I hate those just as much, if not more. Personally I've always found designing a site for one specific browser to be kind of tacky. -- "What you got they can't steal it, no they can't even feel it!" - Bono|Kerry/Edwards 2004 |

I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm a `paid' premium user, and it doesn't bother me at all. |

Too bad the image is local on i.dslr.net or I'd suggest adding a HOSTS entry (or whatever the equivalent is on the Mac) to block out the image. -- Tweaked your OOL connection? | Mail Parse | Speed Converter |

It seriously wouldn't be that hard to have this one opt out.

As I posted here: »Firefox
It's an endorsement by DSLR, not unlike this page. I guess if the `powers that be' decided that they liked IE or Opera that they would put something there.
It's really not worth getting bent out of shape over. |
