It still wont play the first file and it skips over to the second file. Does my puter need to be restarted for it to work?

join:2000-10-06 | It's worth a shot. I find it odd that one file works and the other doesn't. Did the first file completely download? Also, what is the file name, sometimes the format of the file is in the filename.

what is the file name? are you sure you downloaded the complete .avi? download 'the playa' at www.divx.com (under software) and see what it comes up with.
