woogiewoogie's wish list!

No woogie, I mean computer wish list!

We're going to try and build 1 if not 2 blades for woogie See Profile foldy 3.

Here is what we have so far:
•2 ECS 848P-A P4 mainboard - compliments of NutCase4 See Profile and simplykristi See Profile. Nic onboard.
•1 P4 2.4c 800 MHz FSB - compliments of NutCase4 See Profile
•1 512MB PC2100 DDR - compliments of georgequ See Profile and pervez8 See Profile

Here is the start of what we might need:
•1 - 256MB Stick of PC3200(DDR400) for the P4 2.4c setup
•1 - P4 CPU for the second mainboard.
•1 - Stick of 256 MB memory to match the unknown P4's FSB.
•2 - harddrives (3 GB and above should do the trick)
•2 - Legit OS's (note: will talk with woogie about Linux)
•1 - CDRom. Maybe 2. Just in case a drive crashes.
•2 - Cat 5 cables.
•2 - Cases that have a P4 power supply with 12v + ATX
•1 - UPS woogie has this one under control also.
•2 - Video cards. AGP 4x or above or PCI. (1x & 2x don't fit in 8x slots, right?).

Item's I need to speak with woogie See Profile about:
keyboard & mice woogie's covered
hub / switch woogie's covered
monitor woogie's covered
power strip woogie's covered

All that being said and probably going to edit the carp out of it. I have plenty of cases, but they don't have P4/AMD power supplies. I can buy complete AOpen cases with P4 ATX power supplies cheaper than I can have a P4 power supply shipped in. So unless, Optimum1 See Profile or jplove has the power supplies in the spare parts inventory or an FP member is willing to donate; I can probably pick them up locally cheaper.

I also know that some of the current operators have received extra spare parts in the name of FP, so if there are any matches; then please let us know.

woogie See Profile chime in anytime!

--edit 1 out of the way
--edit 2, another strike. woogie See Profile has the UPS under control also!

Struck a few things off the list woogie See Profile. Thanks for the quick reply.

Now, how open to Linux are you?? It's like Windows with a bunch of text files to edit instead of popup windows to click on.

But I can set it all up for you to make it less painful!

I have a ton of stuff getting ready to ship to JP. Among the loot are several hard drives, several CD-ROM drives, NICs and sundry other parts. Sorry I can't move more quickly on this stuff --- things are a bit complicated at the homefront presently.

I expect to ship some boxes to JP tomorrow, and you guys can get things divvied up from there.

I'll be watching for your post. If not, I have two Antec 300W PSUs, Model SL300S, which PinHead says will work.

I have two Enhance 300w power supplies, both with the extra connector. If that's big enough, I can send it to you directly, and ship the other stuff on to jplove.

Lemme know,

I have a spare case also --- let me know if you'd like me to send it to you directly with the power supply I mentioned above. You can always get it from JP later, but this way we'd only pony-up for shipping once...
