Billy boy forgets it was his lowly programmers that created the whole "Tracking Cookie" concept and built it into there IE browser.
RFC 2109 would seem to indicate that the "tracking cookie" concept was created by Netscape and put into their browser, first.

Billy boy forgets it was his lowly programmers that created the whole "Tracking Cookie" concept and built it into there IE browser. MS is the biggest exploiter (err... Marketing) company of all. I sure they would prevent every other tracking cookie, key logger and trojan except the ones they placed there or their paying marketing customer placed there.

Firefox and mozilla are a simpler alternative, even then you have to realize only a truly independent Anti-Adware company will not be selective in their identification of adware or tracking cookies.

It'd be a hoot I try to install it, and my current AV or firewall flagged it as being malicious

No doubt it would...Microsoft would find a way to profit off it via a 3rd party, like report back all thepeople who have sextracker cookies and automaticly signs every email address used in outlook, up for tons of porn email!!
