Re: Just what we need

What ever happened to some court order not to include IE with windows installs?
Didnt they have this beef with netscape because they dont have as good a chance of getting their browser out there because Windows already has a packaged browser.

Im liking the spreading of firefox, especially when they hit that 1 million download mark early. Everyone needs to help spreading the word. Everyone needs to do what they can to spread it to more people and help rid the world of this evil virus code named Internet Explorer.

And as soon as that becomes the mostly widely used browser the same will happen. People seem to forget that virus writers and the slime balls who make spyware do it to try and make the most impact for spyware tracking users to try and make them buy other stuff is a money gimmick. So they go after the biggest population to try and make the most money.

This forum in general is so biased against MS but yet 95% of you people use it. Turn off your windows machine and boot up linux. I am sure most of the linux users who know what they are doing will appreciate the how do I posts in the linux forums.

I wouldn't say that 95% of the people here are biased against microsoft. There is just a vocal group here, but I am sure you would find that a majority of the people here are not biased against one operating system or another. Most of us know the pluses and minues of each one.

So true, But I am severely tired of seeing these people bash MS when many have never booted up a linux machine or shelled into one. Each one has strengths and weaknesses and the uneducated just seem to think that they are always right claiming "Linux Roxors". And none of them have even used a linux box, closest they have used to a machine of that os is visiting a site running apache.

Ye Firefox is a great browser.

What i don't understand is how has IE survived till now, when you have many FREE SUPERIOR browsers out there like firefox and Opera ?

By the way what happened to MSN Explorer ? are they still planning to include it in the future.

I like the "evil virus code" expression.

Well I guess Mozilla and Firefox never got such a big push til recently...As far as MSN browser, I thought you needed to be a member of MSN to use it. Atleast thats what it told me on time i went to install it
