Re: [wired] Recap: BEFSX41 Stable Firmware

I want to know if I can go back to the version I had when I bought the router. If I'm not mistaking, it was version 1.45.7 or maybe .3. The reason why I want to do this is because I haven't been able to find a solution to fix the UPnP and the gaming problems. When I enabled the UPnP service and function in the version 1.45.7, I could play games like age of empires 2 without a problem. And this, with the two comps I have. Now, with the new version 1.50.18, I can't connect and play a game with even one computer. The new firmware produces a bug. When you connect to other PCs you won't be able to see all the players and the players you can't see will have a ping of 30. When that occurs the host can't launch the game because you can't see all the players and you get booted off.

It seems this version is stable yet it's giving me problems the previous version wasn't giving me. I don't know how to fix this. If there is a way to fix this problem and it can apply to all the computers I have, I'll stay with this version.

Can you degrade an upgraded firmware ??? if not; and there is no way to solve the problem how can I set the previous version back ?

Re: [wired] Recap: BEFSX41 Stable Firmware

Firmware version 1.50.18 is full of problems. You can either drop back to 1.45.7 or move up to 1.51.00. Be sure to long reset your router to get back to factory default settings before flashing which ever way you go.
