 can't download

my download never starts. i save it to the location but it doesn't start. i can search the net and all. but doesn't let me download. im using winxp. PPPoe. can anyone please help.

Being able to browse and not being able to download is usually caused by NIC problems. Move your NIC to a different PCI slot. If that doesn't work, take out all unneccessary PCI cards like sound card, and 56k modem, and then try each slot. If it works, then you can add the other devices back until you find the problem. You can just move the device to a different slot and that may fix the conflict.

thanks man. what would i do if their werent no dslreports. even pacbell was giving me the run around. they didnt know what to do. thanks man.

Same thing happened to me. Took me months to figure it out! Turns out PacBell sent me a defective NIC card. I changed it to a Netgear card and now I download at maximun speed. Maybe yours could be defective too.
