Well, I don't know much about this but... Why couldn't they use another frequency spectrum? It seems to me they could use the 2.4 or 5.8ghz to broadcast this. Those freq's are not in the HF band and they don't seem to travel far. Now I know this will probably cause havoc to the wireless routers and cordless phones we now have, but they surely could find a better frequency to broadcast this on. All of the new lines around here are going underground anyway, so there shouldn't be much interference...let's hope. |

| One company is using 2.4 / 5.8 Ghz »www.corridor.biz/ . This has tons more capacity than HF BPL, no interference potential, and it actually has a future. It appears the FCC has all but ignored it in favor of promoting HF BPL. |
