chernobyl is in the ukraine, but a massive amount of the fallout fell on belarus. 90+% of belarus is above "safe" levels for exposure.
after reading my comment i can agree that is was rather tasteless, and if i was from anywhere near the accident would find it offensive. if i could go back and edit i would.
you might be better off with a constructive insult than accusing someone of being in the KKK, or questioning my skills in geography

Talking nonsense about radiation and Chernobyl; do you even know where Chernobyl is? Do you know where Iraq is? Well technically it's not really an insult if it's true is it? They are contaminated, and they obviously do not understand technology.
So it brings to mind the question...is it an insult if it's true?
