TCO1962Premium join:2001-07-02 Champaign, IL | IM delivered 3 hours late Anyone else seeing this? Only one occurrence for moi but I did find it odd. The person was "last online" over 3 hours prior but the IM said "NOW" |

1 edit | Maybe not a bug. The different servers that mirror BBR will not immediately reflect any "last online" changes so different servers can have different online times depending on what info they have cached at any given moment in time.
Did you know that someone can potentially read an IM even though you may have deleted it? as long as the server they are viewing it on hasn't replicated, the older info will be still be 'current' only to that server.
Does that make sense to you? It's how I had it explained to me, so if there's any errors or omissions, I apologize in advance. |

vkrExMod 2001-06 join:2001-04-03 Terra | reply to TCO1962 Probably not delivered late. The idle timer, is not reset by all functions. In Particular, then IM screen, will not affect the idle time at all. Even though you have an IM screen up and in the middle of an IM conversation, it will not be reflected by the idle/active time.
I guess, maybe from justin 's point of view that unless you're actively browsing and replying to post, then you're not active????
Not a bug. -- ...RFC143, protocol compliant. |
