To answer your question, yes Earthlink does have an email only account. It is called the Earthlink Experience.It allows you to have 8 email address and no dial up usage for only $4.95 a month. If you were to use the dial up, it would be $1.95 an hour.

| You shouldn't have a problem calling in and just getting an email address that I'm aware of.
Its essentially a BYOC deal...EL will maintain the email account for $4.95 and you provide your own connection to the net..whether it be dial-up/DSL/Cable/Sat.
