Re: Vaughn Mills now Open the Toronto Transit Commission does not service Vaughan Mills directly, so i can give you some directions that require you to transfer buses
Option 1:
Take the TTC Subway to Downsview Station, follow the signs to the Buses, and transfer onto TTC Route 196 York University Rocket (no paper transfer required) to York Lanes (on York's Campus), which is where the York U bus terminal is. Then board York Region Transit (YRT) Route 20 Jane-Concord, which directly services Vaughan Mills.
You will need to pay $2.25 on the TTC for the Subway and 196 Bus ride, and then pay $2.25 for the YRT bus ride.
Option 2 - Take the TTC Subway to Downsview Station, follow the signs to the buses, and transfer onto Route 105 Dufferin North. You will need to pay $2.25 when you board the subway, and $2.25 when you get off 105 (in YRT Zone. Be sure to obtain a transfer upon exit) Take 105 to Rutherford road and transfer onto YRT route 85 westbound (Ruthorford/16th Avenue)
Option 3 - Take the TTC Subway to Finch Station, get off the subway at Finch Station and proceed to GO Finch Bus Terminal (not the TTC's bus terminal). You will need to pay $2.25 when you board the subway and $2.25 when you board the YRT Route. Board either YRT Route 88 or 99 and obtain a transfer from the driver. Get off at Ruthorford Road/Carville Road/16th Avenue (they are all the same street, but the name changes at Yonge Street from 16th to Carville and then again at Bathurst Street from Carville to Ruthorford.) and transfer onto YRT Route 85 Westbound.
Option 4 - Take the TTC Subway to Finch Station, get off the subway at Finch Station and proceed to GO Finch Bus Terminal (not the TTC's bus terminal). You will need to pay $2.25 when you board the subway and $2.25 when you board the YRT Route. Board YRT/Brampton Route 77 and obtain a transfer from the driver. Get off at Edgley Blvd/Interchange Way (same steet name changes) and transfer onto YRT Route 20 Northbound.
There are more options but i am only going to go over those 4 as they are the simpelest.
This map shows you all the Bus routes in South York Region, and the north end of the TTC Subway system, so you can use it to help you plan your trip. All routes in red are TTC routes that are contracted to YRT so you pay YRT fare if you're north of steeles, and TTC fare if you're south of steeles, or both if you're going across Steeles. (with the exception of TTC Route 60 and 53) The other routes that go into toronto only require a YRT fare.
*NOTE* The map does not show TTC route 196, but that map can be found on www.ttc.ca

Appreciate the Info. sorry for bring this up from the dead but you said that you'd be in toronto over the holidays, and incase you were interested,196 is not operating during the holidays, so you'd need to substitute 196 York University Rocket from Downsview with either 106 York University from Downsview or 60C Steeles West to York University from TTC Finch.
