I'm taking it back and getting a Linksys again

What'd you change brands for in the first place? Stick with linksys if it works for you.

[RANT] This is just the kind of ridiculous statement that causes misconceptions and just plain untruths. The fact is that BellSouth has some known issues...particularly in the way that they implement PPPoE and this is hardly the fault of the router manufacturer. The fact that Linksys works makes you lucky actually, but hardly in a position to dis Netgear.

I own an SMC2804WBRP-G, a Netgear WGT624v2, a Linksys WRT54G (with Sveasoft Alchemy RC1 v6) and a Linksys WRV54G. They all have their idiosynchracies but they all have their own particular strengths as well.
