Viewpoint Media Player--Spyware or Not?

Hi

I'm wondering if Viewpoint Media player is spyware or not, it autoupdated this morning, and I didn't even really know what it was from, but I always let all my programs autoupdate so I let that one, and now I'm wondering if the program is safe, or if it's spyware.
