| reply to ParanoiaInc Florida has one of the nation's worst Utility On-Call systems, providing utilities and competitors a difficult challenge to be able to locate their facilities (the paint on the ground). On top of that, with the very high water table, it is difficutlt to get a decent tone on the cables and lines to locate them properly.
This is nothing new new Florida. If you researched any utility doing work in Florida, along with any other state, the number of utility strikes in Florida are nearly 50% higher than outside.
This has nothing to do with Verizon, their subcontractors - it is the support systems and geographic issues..... |
