|  Is it possible to get rid of a cable company?
I recently moved from a Comcast area to an area serviced by MDM. The cable TV service is poor (old cable boxes, poor signal quality, no HD premium channels just local, no on-demand service, no hope of PVR, etc.) and the broadband services is less than half the speed I could get from Comcast. Somehow I doubt if MDM will be upgrading the service here any time soon.
So basically I'm wondering if anyone knows how you would go about changing a cable service provider? Assuming it can be done at all I assume I would have to get everyone in the area to agree to switch? Can this be done or do they basically have to violate their contract somehow? How would I even find out what that contract is? Help! |
