freenow,
thanks for the help. i called billing, but they are closed. will call tomorrow and monday if necessary. the co distance checker on dslreports does not give a number. if distance has change significantly, i may be sol. they sould, however, make a good effort to help, since i have been paying for service for a couple years, and the problem "should" have been anticipated by them. is this kind of problem common? when the 800 # representative told me the ATM slots may fill up, i said that they should reserve one for me since i have been hosed to some extent. the rep said that could not be done. clearly it can be done. is this something to run up the VZ ladder to the consumer affairs (prez appeals(?)) dept? thanks |
