How screwed does someone have to be to do such psychotic behavoir? what is this world coming to? I know there is a risk in everything you in everyday life, but this is just rediculous now. Must we all think about getting killed in such abnormal behavior going to a rock concert? I feel bad for the 3 innocent fans that were killed too.  whatever happened to simple moshing and broken noses?  I got to many Deathmetal shows in NJ, LI, and Manhattan and this is something I thought would never happen. sorry to bring the forum down with horrible news, this is a tragic event that really sucks. btw, he is the ex-guitarist from Pantera.

Yea read about this a while ago. It is very crazy. I know for the past 5 years that every concert I have attended I have been patted down to the bone. I guess maybe Ohio doesn't do the same thing  . Either way it's very sad news.

A truly sad day. My thoughts are with his familys, both biological, and Pantera.
On another note, John Lennon was shot dead exactly 24 years ago (12/08/80). There are some crazy people out there.

That is b.s., i heard none of that either, the guy was an ex-marine #1 and #2 he was a obsessed Pantera fan and was so upset the brothers left the band and started their own. One of the witnesses said that the shooter yelled " YOU RUINED MY LIFE!!!" at the band before going on the stage and shooting Darrell to death. He almost killed one other guy he had in a head lock, the guy got away giving the cop an opening to shoot Nathan (the killer) to death. If anyone thinks heavy metal provokes violence is someone that never listened to it before. Like I said, I have been to many many shows in my life all over and have never met anyone more crazy then I have seen at super markets. So if someone shot Sting to death because he left The Police, does that make the type of music he plays attract lunatics too? It is an unfortunate thing that happened. --
