4+2 using the slower format is the most reliable. SIA format may also work.
Your alarm panel has to be able to call using at least 2 different formats as required by UL.
It is recommended that 4+2 20pps is used on the first attempt, then 4+2 10pps to be used on the second attempt if the first attempt is not successful. That way limiting the amount of time that your phone service is disconnected during an emergency.
