| Having problems with PSN? Here's what you do...
If you are having problems with PSN and they won't help you get them resolved do what I did, file a complaint with the better business bureau and let them sort it out. It seems that PSN is having legal action taken against them for fraudulent claims (Go figure). To check out the facts go to this web page: http://www.phoenix.bbb.org/report.html?compid=86000913
This has all the information you need in order to file a complaint. To file a complaint go to: http://www.phoenix.bbb.org/
All the information you need is on the report on the 1st web page I mentioned. If we can get enough people to complain we might all be able to get full refunds, or failing that, get these fraudulent bastards put out of business REAL quick. So be a dear and check it out. |

| Thanks for this post. I have done all of the following.
Sent a cancellation request via email to EVERY address. Sent a cancellation request via fax to EVERY fax #. Sent a certified letter to the Corporate office. Sent a copy of all these documents to the Arizona BBB. Sent a copy of everything above to the District Atty. Canceled my credit cards so they would stop billing me. Then I listened to that ridiculous radio station while on hold for 3 hours until someone finally answered and I verbally told them to cancel this immediately.
Nothing at all has happened. I am glad that things worked out for you.

| reply to Soulburned Thanks, I just filed a complaint! It's nice to know I'm not alone. Five calls in one week, twice I stayed on the line for over an hour and still no one ever picked up. If it hadn't been for friendly Northpoint reps who gave me the emergency technical line, I would NEVER have reached anyone to cancel my order. Luckily I found out BEFORE I got the DSL installed and not afterwords. A Nightmare resolved. |

| reply to Soulburned I don't understand, if the BBB has all this information about them and knows they do bad business, why they don't shut them down. I guess I was lucky to have got my rebate (though I had to call Northpoint a few times for it), and to have only paid for the installation (which I was refunded with the rebate), a mysterious $50 fee which is not mentioned anywhere, and 2 months of DSL (first and last months), which I almost got before I canceled. Others seem to have not been so lucky. I'm still kinda peeved about having been lied to, and then being told that the person who told me all those things no longer works for PSN and so therefore they have no way of verifying what I was told (basically they were calling me a liar). Oh well, I'm free of them, but I still don't understand why they are still allowed to do business. -- There are 3 types of people: those who can count, and those who can't. |
