Re: VoIP Reseller Program

If you have questions about what someone claims, then you are certainly free to ask in a professional manner.

I agree, I could have kept the sarcasm out of my post.

But this is a business to business forum, and these 2 people made posts that made business claims, that I don't view are true.

If someone made misleading claims in the other forums a ton of people would jump on them. But since there aren't a lot of people who have knowledge of the wholesale VoIP market here, I believe that it is my right to point out these misleading statements.

If anyone knows anything about VoIP they will know that what they are saying is not correct.

Couple of questions, first for VoipKing, you say that your voice service is supported by Level 3, which means you are buying service from them and reselling their service. Good, level 3 has high quality. But next you say you "own your own lines." What kind of line? Fishing Lines? I would like to know what these lines are that you own, and how they prevent your network from dropping calls. Do these special fancy lines that you guys own give you 100% ASR?

Arkady, I think you are one of the smartest people in VoIP. You state that "We terminate via PSTN as opposed to sending it off via the Internte, so our voice quality is crystal clear."

You are a genius and I'm sure your company will succeed. Good choice picking to terminate on the PSTN. Because if you didn't your calls would never terminate anywhere. Good choice deciding not to send your calls out over the internet. People would probably not pay much for a phone service that did not allow them to call anyone.

(For the record you could terminate to other IP phones without using the PSTN. But that isn't what we are talking about here, we are talking about home and business VoIP service, so of course everyone terminates onto the PSTN.)

We at Acecape, Inc. (aka AceDSL, www.acedsl.com) have developed our own VoIP service. It is based on Asterisk with quite a few custom add-ons. We terminate via PSTN as opposed to sending it off via the Internet, so our voice quality is crystal clear.

We've been listed, and reviewed, here since 1999, feel free to check us out.

The service includes full PBX functionality and is targeted to small and medium businesses. We welcome resellers in NYC area (Lata 132).

Feel free to e-mail: arkady@acecape.com

Cheers!
