|  [Availability] When will DSL be available?
Hey guys, long time visitor, thought I'd go ahead and sign up to be a member!
Anyways, I live in rural Kentucky, and I'm curious as to when BS plans to bless me with DSL. They have it wired for Jackson, KY but I live around 8 miles away. I've tried reading that deployment Excel file, but it's huge and I couldn't find anything on it.
I understand the problems that come with living in rural areas and DSL availability, but isn't there any way to encourage them to make the commitment and roll out?
There are quite a few citizens around here that also want DSL, but they won't deploy it past the city limits.
Any information at all would be helpful. Thanks guys  |

Krotz Springs, LA | Tell whoever else wants it to call BellSouth daily and go to the website daily and inquire about it. That gets Marketing's attention. As for when, no one can really say.

Krotz Springs, LA | It is not guaranteed but it usually works. There were no intentions of placing a DSLAM where I live but everyone called and suddenly there's one.
