You can't get there at all? Are you clicking OK with each prompt? (just tried it)
It doesn't block the site as much as block things that site is trying to download (btw, that should tell you something about Excite, the fact that SpyBot S&D blocks a half dozen downloads).
Immunize Section > Download Blocker Aread > set "Block all pages silently.
OR just disable it in the same place. Mind you, the protection will be turned off.
Have you looked into using Spywareblaster (free, from »www.javacoolsoftware.com ) to compliment Spybot's immunize feature?
Or use Firefox.

How can remove Excite from the list and still have blocking enabled?
Excite is not in my Hosts file. |

| Not sure you can. It isn't blocking Excite (OK, it isn't supposed to be blocking), it issupposed to be blocking what Excite is trying to download. Did you try the block silent option first?
Now as to why it is blocking the whole page ????????? Perhaps someone else here can answer.
Just for reference, What else is installed on your system? IE-SPYAD? etc? OS, browser version, etc. -- The reason you think I'm way on the left is 'cause you're so far to the right. Sygate Personal Firewall Why I mistrust Zone Labs |
