I'm going to hurl with the sad advice I'm reading.
G protocol is longer distance? ummm NO. Please, if you don't know what your talking about, its better just to be quiet.

For the poster you have to better detail your requirements.
Is it, connect two sites via wireless?
Is it, provide wireless in a cafe/bar area?

etc, the more specific less generic, the better answers you will get.
