Other Channel for Super G

Is there any way to change channel for the Atheros Super G with turbo (108mb/s) other than Channel 6? My AP is Airlink AP411W.

The channel 6 is kinda crowded in my neighbourhood, the connection keep breaking off even with the plain G mode. No disconnection happen if I changed to other channel.

Is it a manufacturer issue or the technological issue or legal issue that won't allow user to change channel in Super G Turbo mode?

Thanks!

I googled "Super G" and this is what I found

quote:
To achieve higher throughput, the technique "bonds" together Channel 6, half of Channel 1 and half of Channel 11
I'm guessing this means it will only use those 3 channels and nothing else.

Have you tried calling Airlink tech support and asking if its possible to change the channels?

Thank you! It seems it can't be changed. I hope there will be firmware upgrade to the "adaptive network radio" technology.
