| extending wireless coverage Hey everyone
i need a bit of advice, i recently got a D-Link DI-624 wireless router set up at home its all working fine except i need to extend its range, currently it goes half way down my hall.
lets say it goes 40 feet roughly well i just need it to go a further 10 feet, has anybody any ideas how i can do this or whats the best way to do it.
thanks

your other option would be to setup a repeater

| For an additional ten feet try adjusting angle of antennas and /or something like this: »www.freeantennas.com/prod01.htm -- Dawn,n,The time when men of reason go to bed. (Ambrose Bierce.) | |

| Cheers for the suggestions, i've tried the solution on the www.freeantennas.com/prod01.htm site
couldn't believe the improvement it made and i was just using cardboard and tinfoil, unfortunatly i'm still bout 3 feet short!! its unreal!! i wonder if i used metal instead of tinfoli would it improve things?
gay2jp what kind of antenna did you get? did it extend it far? Is there a certain power rating i should go for? whats the current rating on the antenna on the DI-624
