Get one with a insulated container. The coffee stays hot and does not get the old burnt taste. I will drink from the pot all day and it is still good.

Well, when I bought mine, I reasoned that if it broke, it was so cheap that I would just buy another one or something else. In fact, I only bought it as a stop-gap until I decided what I really wanted. But, it never broke and it makes very good coffee, so I am still using it.

For me, it was just a bonus that it turned out to be so good.
