are the ones in surrounding cities whose cable bills go up to pay for thes discounts. Not only do they not get the benefits of competition, but they must also PAY for the benefits of the lucky ones who have it. That's why predatory pricing is wrong. If Comcast could demonstrate that they weren't borrowing from other cities to pay for these promotions, then I might be OK with it. However, I'm certaint that isn't the case here. |

If you really knew the entire corporate structure of Comcast you would know that they are not violating any federal statues. Instead of speculating here go to your nearest office, write to the corp. office, or better yet, get the official SEC filings on the corporate structure and how pricing is determined for the differnt areas of the company and make an informed comment instead of a false accusation. -- I'm not really sure what I am doing, but I'm doing it anyway! |

LOL. Maybe the Eletric company should charge Comcast a lot more to supply power to them Seeing as comcast will need eletric to run their services and nodes |

Whether they are doing what I'm saying they are doing and whether that is breaking the law are two different questions. Are you saying that customers in NON-COMPETITIVE cities AREN'T subsidizing the ones who are? It may be legal, but that's what they are doing, and that is the law that must be changed. This is no different from Microsft using the profitability of 1 MONOPOLY to undersell the competition in and drive them out of business in a COMPETITIVE MARKET. THIS IS ROTTEN THE CORE EVERYWAY YOU LOOK AT IT. |
