[foreverhost.us] what do you think?

Came across this 'company' in my web travels. I personally am skeptical but was wondering if anyone has heard anything about them.

a) Unlimited hosting is impossible. Please find me a hard drive with unlimited space...
b) They've been around less than six months:

Domain Last Updated Date: Fri Nov 12 23:46:24 GMT 2004
b) These guys don't even own their own server. They're just a reseller:

c) Their pages are outdated and just plain wrong:

Their server is not in Houston, it's in Dallas.

The forum is so bare, it hurts.

d) Avoid these chumps.

On the about page, do a google search on the phrases:
"Our datacenter is located in Houston, Texas and is staffed 24/7/365."
"There are over 580 smoke detectors throughout the 35,000 square foot facility"

Content aint original. That means they didn't take the time to at least reword or paraphase their content. Unprofessional hosting company IMO just by these facts.

Yeah, that happens all the time. I've gotten used to it, so I usually recognize familiar text - I don't even Google it anymore.

Unprofessional. Lame.

What a coincidence that an Ohio resident vouches for an Ohio-registered business...

HA! That's a classic. It's such a shame that what could have been a reputable business (niche) has become so cluttered with "average joe's" simply looking to make a quick buck.

Maybe because it's your "company" and you're posting in an attempt to make yourself look better?

Hi all,

Just thought I'd voice my opinion about the "Hosting Hall of Shame".

Just because a company does not appear good, does not mean is isn't. Maybe the members of BBR are making a mistake, or are wrong. Now I'm not saying this host is BAD or GOOD, but say a current client comes here and sees that foreverhost is in the Hosting Hall of Shame. Do you think that client is going to be happy about that?

What I'm saying is, you guys said this company has an outdated website, common text, and a reseller account. This makes them a bad company? Not in my book.

I just think that there should have to be a little more "proof" before someone adds it to the Hall of Shame.

But hey, who ever listened to me :D

Well, a bad website gives a very bad impression to the customers. If the website contents of a hosting website is immature, then what other possible factor might defeat the immaturity image of the hosting company?
