Setting up Privacy for DLINK DI 624 C

I am using a DI 624 C ( Single Antenna ) on the following system.
cable modem feeding the DLINK, using DHCP.
Apple G4 dual 1000 hard wired to the DLINK
A Powerbook G4 using Apple Airport Express wireless card.
A Toshiba PC Laptop with a DLINK DWL G650 card.
At the moment all are existing well and all are getting a good signal throughout the house.
What I would like to know is how to stop broadcasting my SSID network name to the neighborhood and adding WEP .
Keeping in mind my mixed operatting system I would like to keep the signal as strong as possible.
Is there a site, or if someone could decipher the information and provide with a link to the info I would like to read about it further.
As far as I can tell there is not any other parties near me.
thanks in advance.

You can Start with this FAQ-»Wireless Security
For specific Info On your router. You most likely will Find the info you are looking For in your Owners manuel. If you cannot Find anything there, May i suggest you post in the D-link Forum »D-Link

You can turn off the SSID broadcast in the config webpage by clicking on Advanced -- Performance, then just disable it:

and adding WEP .
That can be found under Home -- Wireless:

Here's a link to more information about enabling WEP from D-Link's site.

edit: broken link
