I'm above 200+ gigs a month,but then again I've been at the number for years and now this is the first time I've ever gotten a warning for that.

Me being in the top 200 has to be at the stateside/citywide level becaue there's no way of all the customers they have only 200 are averaging above 7 gigs a day

The person that I spoke with did not give me a number other than the top 1%. He would not elaborate when I asked him if he was talking Nationwide or just MN, or anything else for that matter. He wasn't very pleasant but who can blame him having been assigned to make those calls. In hindsight, I wished I'd responded with "have I won a prize?" when he said the top 1%, perhaps that would've given him a small grin.

Today I got "the call",I am one of the top 200 absusers (country?) and my account will be terminated for a year if I don't cut back.It was also suggested to me that I sign up for the commercial package

I got "the one percenter call" last Friday -- I felt deep, deep sorrow, regret and shame for my behavior. I was sure that all of my dear departed ancestors were surely most disappointed in me seeing (from beyond) the way I have behaved. Now that I see there is a top 200 letter most of my shame has been lifted!

But seriously, I am glad that you have options, I wish that my location did as well. When a viable option becomes available, I'm going to jump on it.
Do you have a number for us?

So far it is 3 people at 200+. I am very surprised that top 200 is at only ~250.

Funny thing is my bandwidth use has been pretty much the same (250 gigs a month give or take) since they took over my ATTBI account so many years ago.I always thought they left me alone because my account was grandfathered in.

Thankfully for me in the area I live in MA I have other options and can spend my 140+ bucks a month for tv/internet elsewhere if they shut down my account

I haven't returned the call yet but thanks to all the threads on this subject,I see that my call will do me no good anyway
