I'm interested in paying for more downloads since the 2GB that I get with Giganews provided by Comcast is not sufficient enough. Why is limited more expensive the unlimited? Since your downloading more I would think the cost will be higher. Maybe I'm missing something here .
Just a word of warning, the term unlimited, doesn't actually mean unlimited in Giganews, they will cap your speed after you pass I think about 100-200 gigs, though I guess that wouldn't matter anyways since Comcast would call you and tell you are downloading too much anyways.

There are better and cheaper services which offer unlimited to. Only difference is there retention, Giganews has about 50 days retention.

I thought I read someplace on Usenetservers site that they added more storage and have brought the binary retention time up to 23 days but I can't find it now. I have been using Usenetserver for some time now and I am very impressed.... especially since it maxes out my 5Mbit connect unlike my isp Cox usenet server which limits me to only 180Kb/s on 4 threads total and thier crappy 3 day retention time.....
