If you're on 256 QAM your margins are way off.. 35db is minimum or higher and your transmit is way up there -55 or +55 or higher is not good also.
Check those margins with both modems and if one's different it's probably the modem. |

I already called them and the tech told me that the modem had the 4meg file. The weird part of it all is that I was getting the 384 upload. I have since already switched back to my rca, and it is doing 4/384 |

You can call comcast and ask them what speed your config file is. Make sure you point out that you don't want to know what's in billing but what file the modem has itself. |

| seems I'm getting the 3meg file when I should be getting the 4 meg file...I just swapped my modem from an rca dcm 305 to a terayon tj615. Is there any way to check the terayon config file and there seems to be a lot of locked pages on the modem admin page. Does anyone know what the password might be?
