need your system specs too... -- BBR America's Army Clan: [BBR]KcHaZ |

and once you created that array, you lost all your data on those drives...now your raid 0 array needs to be formatted in windows to be seen as a single disk...but you'll never get your data back...i'm assuming that you have another drive as your boot disk as well -- BBR America's Army Clan: [BBR]KcHaZ |

If that program can create a Master File Table (MFT) based upon the files it finds, you'll be very lucky. I'm not sure how that program works. -- Why do all the good presidents have to die?-Pray for one bad marine with good aim. |

12. I accidentally deleted all 3 partitions on my hard disk but did not do a format while reinstalling Windows 2000. Everything was intact after the removal of partitions. I used Ontrack's Easy Recovery 5.03 previously and although I managed to find the files, they were all corrupted upon retrieval (those larger than the cluster size). According to the software, they are supposed to be in good shape. My partitions are as follows: 1. 5GB 2. 5GB 3. 4GB When I used Restore 2000 trial, I actually found 6 partition of information, which were pretty accurate and the directories structure was there. But I'm afraid that the files would be corrupted again after I retrieve it. Is there anyway to find out? I don't want to purchase software and realize that it couldn't work. Should I purchase the Professional or the Standard version? Does the software perform a read-only? Is this really a frequently asked question?
