Your solution is a couple of diplexers. I assume that one of the Directv receivers is in the family room. In the attic install a diplexer on the coax that goes to the family room. The diplexer has three connections, one 'common', one for Sat and one for Ant. Common goes to the line going to the family rooom, Ant is the antenna and the satellite connection is from the dish. In the family room install a second diplexer, common on the line from the attic, sat to the satellite receiver and Ant to the TV set. |
