| [TIME WARNER] Scientific Atlanta 3250 Memory Reset.
Hi!, I am having a problem with my Cable Box, it says please contact your digital cable subscriber, your digital cable service has been disconnected, on one box within my house. The cable box was purchased off my friend and it was working fine for a couple of weeks now until today when I got this message.
Is there anyway that I can clear the memory back to the day that I got it off my friend so it will work again. I don't wanna call TWC and have them bill me for another box. P.S I don't mean holding down the power button to reboot it, I'm talkin a reboot to clear the memory etc. |

That's because TWCs system found an un-authorized box on their system, and shut it down. Congratulations, you just wasted your money. There is no way for you to steal digital service. Call up TWC and rent a box. They will not activate that one either. |

If your 3250 digital STB isn't working ... it's not going to work until it's re-provisioned by TW.
That box after all is probably owned by your friend's cable company (TW ?) ... if your friend's not paying rent for it, somebody's gonna have to before it'll work again. Sorry, no free lunch w/ digital boxes. |
