Re: [DIRECTV] Direct TV receiver D10-300

Also no DVI cables in the DTV HD receivers, warehouse will supply them but manager says have to bring back unused component cables. No more private stash. Drat !

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit It !

Yeah, The 300's are dead up Philips 5500's, and you guessed correctly, no jumpers in those packages as well.

What bugs me is the 200's are all set to oval-3 dish out of the box, and have to reset them at install.
Yeah, that's kind of a pain.

We haven't gotten any of the 300s yet, so I'm curious as to how similar they are to the 5500s.

What bugs me about the D10 and the 200 (and most likely the 300 as well) is that DirecTV is too cheap to include the RG-59 jumper cable! They still include an S-video cord, but no jumper cable?! Bastards.

Mediacom Online: $45.95 3000/256. Yep, I'm satisfied.
